Another animated comedy from Dreamworks, makers of Shrek, Shark Tale and Madagascar .
The story revolves around a squirrel, turtle, skunk, possum and a raccoon who save the day when it gets really tough, once again proving talking furry friends are funny.
Bruce Willis provides the voice for the main character, RJ the racoon, a speed talking rogue who lives in surburbia. One night he stages a robbery to steal a large stash of food horded by Vincent the Bear. He gets caught and the only way out is to replenish the food he stole within a week or else.
RJ is distraught, what he needs is a few friends to help him with this arduous task, which threatens his safety . RJ makes friends with a group of critters who have been hibernating all winter, now its spring they wake up to find that what was once a plentiful forest is now the new surburban. Clever RJ takes advantage of situation and tries to get them hooked onto human food in an attempt to get them to collect enough food so that he can pay back Vincent the Bears.
The rest of the story tells of the adventure of the gang as garbage raiders and RJ’s clever scheming.
Other members of the cast include, William Shatner, Gary Shandling, Steve Carell, Wanda Sykes and Avril Lavigne .
